Samir, his wife Manal, whom he suspects of cheating, and his daughter Malak suffer a financial hardship. As the police find weapons in the murdered Muthana El Faisal's bedroom, the prosecution takes on the investigation. The police suspect a relationship between Muthana and Rand, a famous singer who was found dead.

Yazan gives Samir a power of attorney to sell his house. Amer asks Captain Khaldoun to reveal the contents of his brother Muthana's palace. Khaldoun questions Suha and Jad. Samir learns that his wife Manal was fired, so he watches her. Abu Essam fires Aziz upon harassing Rehab. Yazan takes Rehab to his place.

Samir finds his wife Manal working as a maid for a wealthy man, and apologizes to him for suspecting her, but Yazan rekindles his suspicions. Khaldoun questions Dr. Hassan again. Samir suggests to Abu Essam that Yazan buy his tailor’s shop. Samir warns Yazan to stop seeing Abu Essam’s girlfriend, Rehab.

Samir collapses, as Yazan loses all the money in gambling. Khaldoun finds Jad's car wrecked, and takes him to the hospital in critical condition. Manal panics, as she sees a deep wound in Samir's head. Yazan flees before Khaldoun catches him selling a stolen ring. Suha accuses Hassan of trying to kill Jad.

Samir collapses after Yazan kills Abu Essam, whose brother Abdul Bari looks for him but doesn’t find him. Amer, Muthana's brother, refuses to indict Hassan. Khaldoun tries in vain to get any information from Suha. Yazan burns Abu Essam's body, reassures Samir and asks him not to mention Rehab in any matter.

Yazan asks Samir to forget about Abu Essam’s murder and threatens him. Hassan learns that Amer is looking for Muthana's ring. Manal notices Samir's odd behavior. Khaldoun tries to solve the mystery of Abu Essam’s murder, after finding his burned body, and before him Muthana. The artist Jad dies in intensive care.

Samir is arrested, interrogated and tortured, then confesses that Yazan killed Abu Essam while Rehab was in the shop. The police look for Yazan, who vanished. As Rehab is arrested, she confesses that Abu Essam forced himself on her, but denies knowing Yazan. Amer confesses that Muthana was trading in arms.

Samir recalls a past memory about his sister, then imagines that Yazan’s strangling him; Khaldoun discovers that he’s the one who tried to strangle himself and that there’s no Yazan. It’s revealed that he has personality disorders, that he doesn’t have a sister, and that he killed Muthana and Rand by order of Hassan.
