Quinn asks Rachel to return to Everlasting in a desperate attempt to save the show after the PR disaster as they both must handle Serena, a Silicon Valley mogul.

After Serena wins a poker game, Chet teaches her how to be an attractive lady, since she believes that men have lost interest in her. Quinn strikes up a friendship with one of the contestants after meeting Chet's girlfriend who works as a swimsuit model.

Serena is enraged when Chet takes her on a patriarchal date, whereupon she decides not to take any of Chet's advice on how to behave or deal with men. After finding a significant secret Quinn has been keeping under wraps, Rachel comes clean with Dr. Simon about her past.

Rachel is forced to tell Serena the truth after a reporter threatens to blow the gaff on Everlasting's secrets. Quinn agrees to Jay's new show concept but makes a risky bargain with a contestant. As Rachel confronts the guy who abused her in her childhood, she discovers that her dad's been aware of it all along.

Rachel discovers that her mother was the reason why her father didn't do anything about her abuse. Quinn is enraged when Gary refuses to listen to her and Jay's pitch, causing her to halt work on Everlasting. Serena learns a secret about a contestant. Alexi forces Jay to keep their arrangement going.

After discovering that her mother has numbed her father with medicine to keep him silent, Rachel tries to make her father wean off the medication, and as she takes him away so that Dr. Simon can take care of him, everyone on set learns about his presence there and Rachel's secret is exposed.

As Serena picks Owen for the home date, Quinn finds out that Rachel is not performing her job properly, whereupon she heads to Colorado, which leads to an ugly scenario, much to Rachel's dismay. Gary provides Chet with a tempting offer.

Chet mulls over Gary's offer. Rachel confronts her mother and informs her that she disowns her from now on. Serena is enraged when her ex-boyfriend mentions how she used to stalk him.

At Chet's lifetime achievement event, Rachel assists Serena in limiting the suitors to two. Conflicting viewpoints, on the other hand, result in a public brawl. Quinn plans to thwart Gary's schemes once and for all, but things don't go as planned.

Rachel decides that she seriously needs to reconsider her future at Everlasting as Serena has provided her with a life-altering offer, besides the fact that she also discovered that Dr. Simon has been watching her all the time. Quinn lashes out at Gary again.
