Lieutenant Colonel Yousry is assigned to travel to Aswan to uncover the mystery of his colleague's murder. He arrives at the hotel disguised as a regular guest, then Nazik Fikri, a writer of detective novels, discovers his identity and promises to keep the matter a secret between them in exchange for her cooperation in finding the killer so she can write a new novel.
