Abu Ahmed asks his son Ali to leave the house of his aunt, who raised him after the death of his mother, and return to live in his house with his second wife, Umm Ahmed.

As Abu Ahmed falls ill and decides to help his son Ali implement a new project and be fully responsible for it, his wife Umm Ahmed resents this decision.

As Ali asks his father to complete his studies besides working with him, Ali is surprised that Umm Ahmed is searching in his things.

As Umm Ahmed quarrels with Ali for interfering in her children’s affairs, his aunt Umm Muhammad tells him that Umm Ahmed hates his existence in the house fearing that he would seize his father’s money. On the other hand, Umm Jassem incites Umm Ahmed to kick Ali from the house.

Ali is saddened by the bad treatment of his stepmother, Umm Ahmed, and her separation between him and his younger siblings.

As Ali is forced to live in his father's office after leaving the house because of his father's wife, Umm Jassem tells Umm Ahmed that Abu Ahmed transferred all of his properties to Ali.

As Umm Ahmed asks Salem to change the key to the house to prevent Ali from entering, Abu Ahmed returns from traveling.

Umm Muhammad tells Abu Ahmed about what Umm Ahmed did to Ali, that she kicked him from the house. So he quarrels with Umm Ahmed and kicks her from the house.

Umm Jassem tries to persuade Abu Ahmed to return his wife to the house, and Abu Ahmed betroths Bedour to his son Ali.

As Umm Ahmed returns to the house, she begins to control Abu Ahmed again and disputes arise between Abu Ahmed and his son Ali. Ali suffers a nervous breakdown and is taken to the hospital.

Umm Ahmed manages to persuade Abu Ahmed to take Ali home from the hospital without the knowledge of the attending physician, who refuses Ali's stay at his father's house due to the problems he is facing.

Umm Jassem incites Umm Ahmed against Ali, and together they devise a plan to separate him again from his father.

On the wedding night of Ali and Bedour, Umm Jassem tells Abu Ahmed that Bedour is Ali's foster sister.

Umm Ahmed puts sleeping pills to Ali, and her children eat with him and they get poisoned. The police investigate and Umm Ahmed accuses Ali of trying to kill them.

As Salem discovers an audio recording of Umm Jassem and Umm Ahmed agreeing to drug Ali, he hands it over to the police, who arrest them and put them in prison. Ali marries Bedour after discovering Umm Jassem's lie.
