Sawsan tells her colleague Salih that she is being insulted by her husband and leaves the house to live next to Salih. Sawsan's husband watches Salih and stabs his wife with Salih's knife.

Sawsan's husband wipes his fingerprints from the knife and quarrels with Salih. The police accuses Salih of killing Sawsan. The court sentences Salih to twenty years in prison, and everyone abandons him.

Zaid watches Faten to tell her the truth, but he changes his mind because of Ghaleb. Jamal proposes to Faten, and she agrees. Jamal goes to Salih in prison and gives him a letter from Faten, in which she tells him that she has got a divorce by a court ruling.

Salih is released from prison. Zaid suffers from depression and refuses to talk to his son, after which he enters a psychiatric hospital. As Salih meets a man named Younes, he decides to help him and tells him his story. Salih's daughters celebrate their mother's birthday.

Younes prevents an attempt on Salih's life at the hands of an unknown person. Salih searches for Faten and his children everywhere, but he does not find them. Salih's condition deteriorates and he is forced to eat food from the garbage.

Karam tells Nour that he likes her. Salih sees his daughter Nour but cannot recognize her. Sarah is happy that Tala has not left the house. Karam tells Amna that he hasn't liked her from the beginning.

Saeed decides to take Salih into his house. Nour tells Amna that Karam does not like her. Saeed asks his son Emad to search for Salih's daughters through his Facebook page. Salih says goodbye to his friend Younes.

Salih works as a cleaner in a restaurant near the university where his daughter Nour studies. Emad calls his father Saeed and tells him that Sarah has created a new personal account on Facebook. Salih sees Sarah's photo and gets to know her.

Nour goes to the restaurant where her father, Salih, works, and they have a conversation, but she does not recognize him. Sarah tells her husband that his sister, Zohour, speakes improperly in front of their daughter. Amna tries to drive a wedge between Karam and Nour.

Nour sympathizes with Salih and tells her sister about him. Sharaf apologizes to Salih and decides to help him rent a room. Amna fabricates a conversation with Karam to drive a wedge between him and Nour. Salih makes sure that Nour is his daughter.

Salih sends his story to Sarah, and she reads it. As Nour asks Salih to tell her his story, he tells her the whole story and that he does not know the whereabouts of his children. Karam asks Nour not to see Salih again. Sarah asks for a divorce from Jamal.

Saeed tells Salih that Sarah is interested in his case. Salih goes to university and Amna ascertains him that Nour is his daughter. Salih follows Nour, tells her that he is her father, and reminds her of their childhood song, wehereupon Nour believes him and confronts her mother.

Faten asks Salih to stay away from Nour, but Salih refuses and admonishes her for deceiving his daughters and telling them that he died. Munir threatens Sarah that he'll take Tala if she refuses to go home.

Faten tells Jalal that she asked Salih to giver her time so that she could tell the girls that he is their father and that she is thinking of selling the house and living in another area. Marwa learns that she is pregnant. Amna quarrels with Salih after he rejects her talk about his daughter Nour.

Nour tells Salih that she intends to tell Karam about him. Zaid enters the mental hospital and tries to commit suicide. Asaad asks his assistant to watch Salih and tells him all the information about him. Salih goes to meet Zaid in the hospital.

Nour asks Salih to appear in Sarah's life in order to make it easier for himself to tell her he is her father. Karam watches Salih to know his whereabouts to ask him to stay away from Nour. Karam tells Nour that he knows that Salih is her father and that he asked him for her hand in marriage.

Nour tries to find out the reason why her father disowned Zaid, who comes out of his room and goes to the roof of the hospital and commits suicide. Nour and Karam tell Salih that they want to prove his innocence to everyone. Salih asks about Ghaleb and learns that he died.

Salih learns that Ghaleb is still alive and searches for him again with Nour and Karam. Sarah tells Zohour that she is the cause of all her problems with Munir. Amna asks Salih to distance Nour from the love of her life, Karam, and claims that he tried to harass her.

Rana is ill. Ghaleb asks a co-worker to spy on Salih. Munir tells Zohour that he is in love with Sarah and will never marry any girl but her. Asaad asks his assistant to get Salih's address. Amna apologizes to Salih.

Sarah tells Jamal that there is a woman in Munir's life and that Zohour wants to marry him. Sarah tells Nour that Salih's story has attracted her attention and that she wants to interview him. Ghaleb assaults Salih and runs away.

Asaad goes to Munir and tries to patch things up between him and Sarah. Munir tells him if Sarah refuses reconciliation, he will take their daughter Tala. Saeed tells Salih that Emad has given Sarah his address. Marwa hits a child with her car, while Sarah learns that Salih is her father.

Sarah admonishes her mother for not telling her the truth about her father. Nour tells her sister Sarah that Salih is innocent and that she is sure about it. Munir quarrels with Zohour. Sarah meets Salih and takes him home when she notices he is sick.

Sarah tells Faten that she has been so unjust to them for not telling them that their father is still alive. Amna tells Nour that she is no longer in love with Karam. Munir goes to reconcile his girlfriend Sarah.

Sarah gets back together with Munir and asks Zohour that they become friends. Ghaleb confesses to his assistant that Salih didn't kill Sawsan, and that he's the one who killed her because she refused to return to him. Munir, Sarah, Karam, and Nour meet at Salih's house.

Ghaleb seriously thinks about his friend's demand to kill Salih so that he'd calm down. As Asaad tells Marwa that her father is alive, Marwa learns where her father is and goes to him under the supervision of Asaad's men.

After Marwa tells Asaad that she does not want to lose her father again, she tells her family that she broke up with Asaad. Faten falls ill. Sarah asks her father Salih to tell everyone his story in a live broadcast.

Jamal tells Asaad that he won't consider Salih a criminal before meeting him. Asaad patches things up with Marwa and tells her that he is doing his best to prove Salih's innocence. Ghaleb kidnaps Rana and demands a ransom.

Salih tells Jamal and Faten that Rana has been kidnapped. Rana records a conversation with Ghaleb in which he confesses to killing his wife, Sawsan. Jamal gives the money to Salih to give it to Ghaleb and get Rana back. Faras kills Ghaleb, but the police accuse Salih of killing him.

Rita tells Reem that Saif is a Christian and that their relationship won't work. Reem falls ill and is rescued by Rehab. The police arrest Faras, and the prosecution orders that Salih be released.

Salih asks his children to stay away from him so as no to ruin their lives. Rana and her sisters learn that Salih is innocent. The doctor tells Nour that Salih has leukemia. Jamal asks Salih to write a novel about his story. After Salih meets Reem for the first time, he dies.
