Emad asks to marry Abeer, who runs away from the house. Basil finds his sister Abeer and brings her to his uncle, whom she asks to postpone her engagement to Emad until her father returns. Aisha's mother asks Essam's father to break his promise to wed his son to her daughter as Essam ignores Aisha.

Abeer repeats her refusal to marry Emad and tells her uncle, who tries everything to convince her but fails. Essam tells his fiancée Aisha that his personality and ideas aren't compatible with hers and asks her that they split up. Nora suspects that there's another woman in her husband Ahmed's life.

Aisha surprises her fiancé Essam and prepares a place for him to recite his poems and have his literary gatherings. Emad asks Abeer to give him a chance to date her, but she tells him that all her focus is on her studies only. Nora quarrels with Ahmed.

Nora's mother intervenes to patch things up between her and Ahmed. Basil tells his sister Abeer either to agree to get married or forget about her studies; moreover, he orders that she be locked in. Abeer faints on account of her not sleeping or eating.

As Nora suspects that there is a relationship between Ahmed and his student Aisha, she becomes furious. Aisha's mother meets Essam, tells him that her daughter is very much in love with him, and warns him not to toy with her feelings. Essam meets Aisha and tells her that he will never abandon her.

Ahmed divorces Nora after she insults his mother and aunt. Basil receives a slap from his father after he treats his sister badly. Aisha feels that Ahmed likes her.

Ahmed tells Nora's mother that he will not get back together with her and that their life together has ended. Nora asks a girl at the university to keep tabs on Ahmed and Aisha and photograph them together. Abeer learns that Essam likes her.

Nora burns Ahmed's photos with Aisha. Essam quarrels with Basil because of his quarrel with Abeer in the movie theater. Abeer asks Essam to leave her alone and not interfere in her life again.

As Ahmed nominates Aisha to represent the college in a major research program at the level of Arab universities, Aisha is pleased with the news and thanks him. Nora tells her mother that she will take revenge on her ex-husband and destroy his life.

The university professor scolds Essam and tells him that he stole his poem from the internet, and as Abeer defends Essam, the professor decides to expel them. When Abeer wears a blue shirt, the students link this to Essam's poem. Ahmed gets angry after learning about Aisha's engagement.

Aisha asks Essam to clarify his feelings towards her, and Essam tells her that he loves her, but she feels the opposite. Ahmed’s mother asks him to forget Nora and marry another woman.

Aisha quarrels with Samar over accusing her of having a bad reputation. Samar distributes photos of Ahmed and Aisha, so the university council decides to suspend Ahmed from teaching. Ahmed monitors Aisha, sees her with his ex-wife, Nora, and learns that they are the masterminds of the scandal.

Ahmed goes to Aisha's house and apologizes to her for what Samar did. Aisha's uncle sees Ahmed and quarrels with him. The university council condemns Samar and returns Ahmed to his job. Ahmed announces his and Aisha's innocence to her uncle, who apologizes to her and her mother.

Aisha goes back to college, while Ahmed goes back to teaching. As Essam gifts Abeer with a book, Basil sees them and quarrels with Essam. Aisha tells her mother that she is still in love with Essam.

Essam meets Abeer and tells her that he wanted to check on her. Abeer tells her friend that she thinks of Essam a lot. She also tells her how much she admires his actions. Essam's mother gets angry about Ahmed's frequent visits to Aisha's house.

Essam agrees to Abeer's request to recite poetry in front of the audience, and for the first time, Essam feels that Abeer likes him. Ahmed's mother asks him to forget Aisha because she is in love with her fiancé.

Ahmed gets angry with Aisha after she praises Essam in front of him. Nora's mother tries to persuade her to go to a psychiatrist. Aisha quarrels with Essam after he called her by Abeer's name. As Basil quarrels with his brother, their father sees them and falls to the ground.

Nora tells Ahmed that she misses him, but he tells her that everything is over between them. Abeer confesses to her friend that she has fallen in love with Essam. Aisha makes sure of Ahmed's love and tells her friend that she will stay away from him even if she has to transfer from the university.

Essam learns that Abeer knows about his poetry page on Facebook and that she has made sure that the page is his. Essam talks to Abeer, and before she leaves, he tells her that he loves her, and she confesses to him that she reciprocates his love. Aisha asks Essam about his relationship with Abeer.

Riyad asks Essam to tell Aisha the truth about his feelings for Abeer. Ahmed asks Aisha to prepare for the university conference and tells her that he is betting on her. Abeer tells Essam that she will stay with him and will not fall in love with anyone else.

Essam says goodbye to Abeer and returns to his family. Ahmed gets furious because of jealousy and breaks the glass in his room after Aisha told him she was going to visit her fiancé. Aisha's mother suspects that there is another girl in Essam's life.

Emad's father gets a tender from Sharif to pressure him and weds Abeer to his son. Nora dies after being hit by a car. Sharif asks Abeer to think again about marrying Emad.

Ahmed goes to Nora's mother and tries to console her, then he meets Essam for the first time during their visit to Aisha's sick friend in the hospital. Essam tries to reach Abeer, but to no avail.

Essam's father tells his son that he knows about his relationship with Abeer and that he will not be pleased with him until he marries Aisha. Essam goes away, leaves a letter for Aisha, and asks her to open it when she is alone, but the letter accidentally falls into Ahmed's hands.

The family learns that Luay has left the country and traveled to America. Essam meets his sweetheart Abeer and tells her that he will never leave her. Riyad confesses his love for Reham. Aisha remembers Essam's letter, searches for it, and makes sure that she lost it.

Essam's father asks for Sarah's hand in marriage again, and she asks him for time to think. As Ahmed and Aisha travel for the conference, Aisha says she can't come to the rehearsal and tells Ahmed that she wants to surprise Essam. When Abeer sees Essam with Aisha, she loses consciousness.

As Ahmed delivers Essam's letter to Aisha, Essam visits Abeer in the hospital. Essam's father discovers that Sarah has been recording their conversation without his knowledge. Emad visits Abeer and renews his relationship with her. Essam tells Aisha that his heart belongs to another woman.

Essam tells Abeer that his heart belongs to her alone, but she rejects him and leaves him. Sarah ignores the phone calls of Essam's father. Basil sees Essam with Abeer and tells his father, after which Abeer's father gets angry with her and tells her that she will marry Emad against her will.

As Emad goes again to ask for Abeer's hand in marriage, Abeer tells her father and all the attendees that she doesn't agree to the marriage, whereupon Basil quarrels with Abeer and beats her, and Emad hits Essam with his car and flees.

Sarah refuses to marry Essam's father and tells him that he was a case in her thesis about adolescent behavior caused by a midlife crisis, which the university decides not to accept. The police arrest Emad. Aisha agrees to give Ahmed a chance. Sharif agrees to Essam and Abeer's marriage.
