An Egyptian dancer, born in Alexandria in 1927. She started dancing in Al-Thaghr amusement park in the mid-thirties. She was attracted to the Egyptian cinema and participated as a dancer in many films. She participated in the movie Fatima (1947) with Umm Kulthum. She got married to Farid Shawqy and their marriage did not last long because she was very jealous on him. Among her works: 5 Lovers Street, Osman & Ali and Fatma. |
