A Syrian writer, born in 1933 in the city of Deir ez-Zor, where he received his primary education and completed the preparatory stage. Then he quit his studies and did his military service, after which he worked as an editor in Al Jundi magazine. Some of his credits are The Bloody Dowry (1994), The Dream (1975), and I'll Die Twice and Love You (1976). He died on 24 January 1997. |
