An American film director who was born on November 30, 1956 in Honolulu, Hawaii in the United States of America. He began his artistic career in 1982 when he directed the movie Privileged. His most important works include The Last Station (2009), A Midsummer Night's Dream (1999), Promised Land (1987), and Some Girls (1988). He attended Payette High School and studied at Boyce University. He married writer Samantha Silva.
