Ahmed Elshugairi is a Saudi media figure. He was born in Jeddah in 1973, and studied in the U.S after finishing his secondary education in Saudi Arabia. He earned a bachelor's degree in information technology from California University, and then returned to his country. His start as a television host was in 2002 through the program “Yalla Shabab” alongside Ahmed El Fishawy and Amr El Qady. He then hosted the television program”Rehla Ma'a Alsheikh Hamza Youssef” (A Journey with Sheikh Hamza Youssef) in which a group of young men would talk with the American preacher Hamza Youssef. After that he started hosting his annual Ramadan show “Khawater” (Thoughts), and has been hosting it since then. |
