He has served as an artistic director for several regional theaters in the UK, delivering over 200 professional productions during his 40 years career. His musical, "A Catered Affair" at the Porchlight Music Theatre in Chicago, Illinois was nominated for a 2012 Equity Joseph Jefferson Award for a Musical (Midsize).
