She was an American writer, born in Quincy, Michigan, in the United States. She began her life in Hollywood by writing screenplays. She also headed her own production company with her husband, Laurence Trimble. After that, she worked as a screenwriter under contract and became famous for her romantic comedy films. She presented many diverse artistic works, such as Flapper Wives (1924), What Price Hollywood? (1932), and Brawn of the North (1922). She received an Oscar nomination for Best Writing, Original Story for What Price Hollywood? (1932). She passed away on August 10, 1955, in Los Angeles, California, USA.
