An American actress and singer, born January 12, 1987, best known for her role as Santana Lopez in the television musical series Glee. Naya grew up in California and lived in Los Angeles for most of her life. When she was still eight years old, her mother introduced her to her agent after she had moved to Los Angeles to start a modeling career. Prior to Glee, Naya appeared in a number of TV commercials, series, and films, including The Royal Family, CSI: Miami, Baywatch, The Bernie Mac Show, and 8 Simple Rules. After Glee, Naya signed on with Columbia Records and released her first album. Her work includes: the series At the Devil's Door series (2014), and the movie Mad Families (2017). |
