American actress who was born in Texas, USA on February 2, 1947. She studied art at the University of Texas at Austin, but she always wanted to become an actress. When she won a beauty contest at university, an acting agent saw her and advised her to start acting. She participated in a large number of TV commercials at the beginning of her career. Then in 1968, she met actor Lee Majors and they got married in 1973 but separated in 1979. She is best known for Charlie's Angels (1976), Harry O (1973), and Extremities (1986). He died on June 25, 2009 in Santa Monica, California, USA, after a three-year struggle with cancer.
