A Jordanian director and writer, born in Amman, Jordan. His credits include the short film The View, which he co-wrote and co-directed with Hazim Bitar, and won the Black Pearl Award for Best Narrative - Short Film at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival in 2008. He also wrote short films for other directors, such as A Cold Morning in November, which won the Audience and Jury Awards from the Arab-French Film Festival. He published many critiques and literary writings in major publications and many well-known websites. He died on December 3, 2019.
