Some of his most notable works are The Informer (1935), Stagecoach (1939), The Grapes of Wrath (1940), How Green Was My Valley (1941), The Quiet Man (1952), and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962). He passed away on 31 August 1973 in California due to stomach cancer. |
