An American comedian, who grew up in Harlem, New York. She is one of 13 children and belongs to a Muslim family. She earned a BA in Mathematics with the intent of becoming a teacher and later moved to Los Angeles to become an actress. She took on a job as a production assistant for comedy shows. She gained widespread fame when she appeared in 2014 in the reality television talent competition show Last Comic Standing. She is also known for Upload (2020-2022) and 100 Humans: Life's Questions.
