An Iraqi writer, born in the city of Nasiriyah in 1965. He is a member of the Union of Iraqi Authors and Writers. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Dramatic Arts from the University of Baghdad, College of Fine Arts. He has written many plays since 1984 as well as many theatrical studies. His published books include the novel "Saleha's Belly" (2009). He won several awards and accolades, including the Appreciation Award in the Sharjah Competition for Arab Creativity in 1999. Many of his theatrical texts were presented in international festivals, and he participated as a judge in many competitions for theatrical writing in Iraq.
