Ahmed Helmy wins best actor while Asmaa wins best film in Egyptian Catholic Center Cinema Festival

Egyptian Catholic Center Cinema Festival held in concluded yesterday held in Nile Hall for Franciscan fathers, in which a number of artists were honored and awarded.The awards came as follows:X-Large won crowd's choice award, while Ahmed Helmy won best actor for the record 3rd time in a row.Hend Sabry won best actress for her role in "Asmaa", while Amr Salama won best screenplay. Both Maged El-Kedwany and Director of cinematography Ahmed Gabr got certificates of appreciation for their contribution in the film, while the film brought home the award for best Film.Ibrahim El-Batoot won best director award for "Hawy", while Ayman Abou El-Makarem won best director cinematography award for "X-Large".Ansy Abou Seif won best interior designer award for "El Mosafer", while screenwriter Mohamed Hefzy took the award for the film.A certificate of appreciation was given to Sheikh Aly E;-Halabawy for his contribution in "Microphone", while "Masar Egbary" band won the best score for "Hawy".Finally, some stars won honorary awards for their collective works and achievements such as Elham Shahin and film critic Magda Moris.
