Add/Update Information: Riad El Sonbati - Music Composer

Riad El Sonbati was an Egyptian music composer who was born in the city of Faraskour, Damietta. He did not excel in his studies at a young age but was passionate about music and singing from a very early age. Sheikh Sayed Darwish listened to Riad and wanted to take him to Alexandria to give him better opportunities, but his father refused that offer because he relied heavily on him in his band. He made his decision to enter the world of composing, and that was in the early thirties of the last century. By the mid-thirties, he began an Arabic musical partnership with Umm Kulthum, which is considered to be the best that ever occurred.
