Amongst his best known titles are “Al Ekhwa Al A’adah” (“Brothers in Conflict”), “Qitaa a’la Al Nar” and “Layla Sakhina”. His most recent film is “Al Bahith a’n Al Houriya” (“In Search of Freedom”), a project which saw him collaborate with director Inass Al Daghdaghy. Rafeeq works as a screenwriting instructor at Cairo’s Cinema Institute. Aside from his screenwriting, Rafeeq is also a revered film critics whose opinions are held in high esteem across the Arab World.
