A Syrian actor, born in 1936. He became a professional radio and theater actor in 1941, working on Aleppo Radio at the beginning of its establishment. He also participated as an actor in most of the clubs that were active at that time, mainly the National Acting Troupe, which became the Art Club.
He was appointed at the Ministry of Culture following its establishment, as he directed plays presented by cultural centers, as well as concerts and various artistic activities. He was a founding member of the Artists' Syndicate. He also held many positions, including the head of the Aleppo branch of the Artists' Syndicate.
He participated in more than ten plays at the beginning of his career, then he became a professional radio director. He also participated in many films, including One Man Wanted and Forest of Wolves. He received a patent of appreciation from the Artists' Syndicate in 1984 and was pensioned off as a radio director on January 1, 1996. He died in 2008 at his home in Aleppo after an illness that lasted for more than ten years.
