Egyptian director, who obtained a BA in Mass Communication, Radio and Television Department from Cairo University in 1982. He became a member of the Syndicate of Film Professions. He took a training course in China, Beijing on ​​media technology. Reda Shawky worked as assistant president of Channel Two of Egyptian television. He also worked as a director of artistic programs and talk shows on Egyptian TV. Reda Shawky worked as a second assistant director for Ramadan Quiz Shows by Nelly, Sherihan and Fatouta with director Fahmy Abdel Hamid. He also worked as an assistant director with director Salah Abu Seif in "Areen and Al-Janadriyah". Reda worked as an assistant director with: Nour El Demerdash, Abdel Aziz Al Sukari, Gamal Abdel Hamid, Al Farid Mikhail, Mamdouh Murad, and Dr. Mona Abu Nasr. He worked as a lecturer on Kuwait TV and a lecturer at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University. He also worked as a Senior Producer for the OTV and ONTV News Channels and as a Media Consultant for the ONTV News Channel.
