Egyptian screenwriter born on 13 August 1947. He graduated from the High Institute of Performing Arts in 1969. He worked in Egypt until 1979 before he moved to the UAE and began working at the Ministry of Information and Culture there, after his professional career ended, he began screenwriting. He wrote the series The Other October (2010) directed by Ismail Abdel Hafez. However, he was playwriting decades prior to that, he wrote several plays in the 1970s and 1980s including "Eyelids" (1979). He died on 21 November 2017.
