Fayeq Abdel Jalil was a Kuwaiti writer and poet. He published many poems and wrote well known song lyrics for many singers such Mohammed Abdu and Khaled El Sheikh. He started his career as a painter then started writing poems and became very known and popular. He got arrested during the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1990. No one has seen him after his arrest for 15 years or knew where he was, until his remains were found in the mass graves of Kuwaiti prisoners in Iraq 2006. |
