Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was born on July 15, 1949, in Dubai. He is the Vice President, Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. He took over as Ruler of Dubai on January 4, 2006. He is famous for writing Nabati Arabic poetry that deals with a number of topics, most notably public issues. Many of his poems have been cited in several productions, including the series Jawaher in its three seasons, and Clouds' Door. |
