An Australian actor, born in Sydney, on November 28, 1976. He obtained a degree in commerce from the University of Sydney. He began his career with small roles in several Australian series, such as A Country Practice, and Hey Dad..!, and in 1997, he joined the soap opera Home and Away, and remained one of its main cast until 2002. He later moved to America, where he joined the cast of Summerland (2004-2005). He participated in several films, such as Flicka, and Dead Silence. In 2008, he landed a major role in the fantasy series True Blood, which was a huge success, and aired for seven seasons. He also participated in comedies, such as Not Suitable for Children, and in animation films such as Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole, in addition to appearing as a guest star in a number of series, such as New Girl.
