Aziz Eid was born in Kafr El-Sheikh in 1884, and his origins descend to Lebanon. Aziz studied in French schools, until he mastered the language. After graduating from high school, his father sent him to Lebanon, where he completed his university studies, and there he formed an artistic duo with Fatma Roshdi, and they presented many plays that are considered classics of theatre. Aziz was called "the pioneer of Arab theater". He studied theater in theory by reading the mothers of theatrical books in French, and then began acting in some of the plays presented by major French theater groups on The Royal Opera House.
He then got acquainted with all the secrets of acting from the great French artists at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. He participated with actor Youssef Wahby in the opening of the Ramses Theatre. His acting credits include: Forever (1941), and Marriage (1933). He died in 1942 at the age of 58.
