An American actor and producer, born in Tennessee, United States, on February 19, 1963. His first credit was in the television series Made in Hollywood (2012). He is best known for the movies Beasts of the Southern Wild (2012), 12 Years a Slave (2013), and Easy Does It (2019). He has worked with Chiwetel Ejiofor, Quvenzhané Wallis, and Brad Pitt. He won the award for Best Actor at the Bombay International Film Festival and the award for Best Supporting Actor at the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards for Beasts of the Southern Wild (2012), among other awards and nominations. |
