American actress, director, screenwriter, producer, and singer, who was born on August 8, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York, USA to an artistic family; her father is the musician Peter Ingoglia known as Teddy Stevens, and her mother is singer Eleanor McGinley. She joined the singing group "The Foremost" with Tony Butala, who is best known as the founder of The Lettermen. She started her film career in 1957 with the movie Young and Dangerous. In addition to her singing success with the song 'Sixteen Reasons', she continued to appear in films and series in the seventies and eighties and sang in some nightclubs. She is known for Rock-a-Bye Baby, Hawaiian Eye and Grease 2.
