She is an Egyptian writer and journalist, born on July 23, 1935 in Dakahlia. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Department of Journalism, Cairo University in 1964 and then obtained a diploma in media from Cairo University in 1972. She began her career as a journalist in Al-Geel magazine and as a journalist writer at Akhbar Al-Youm from 1955 until 1960. She wrote a number of books, including "Celebrity Wives" and "Years of Love". Her TV work include White Fences, and Grandma's Tales.
