An American actor, born to an artistic family in New York, United States. He grew up with his grandmother, and became interested in acting in his childhood. He joined the US Air Force for two years before starting his work in theater in New York. He received a Tony Award nomination for his performance in the play Slow Dance on the Killing Ground in 1964, and became known after starring in the series Mod Squad (1968-1973). His credits include The Butler, Reindeer Games, and The General's Daughter. He died on June 4, 2021.
