An Egyptian writer, born in Cairo. She holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the Faculty of Arts , Cairo University 1974. She was appointed as a journalist at Akhbar el-Yom Press Foundation in January 1975. She participated in many international conferences and forums specialized in the fields of story and novel. Her works have been reprinted several times, and some of them have been translated into English, German and French. She won the Best Book Award at the Cairo International Book Fair in 2001 for the book "A Woman's Pulse."
