His feature film debut was in the 1997 action film “Speed 2: Cruise Control”. He also appeared in the film “Traffic” in 2000. In 2001 he was cast by Ridley Scott for a role iin “Black Hawk Down,” where he met producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who offered him a starring role in the CBS mystery drama “Without a Trace”. Muricano was nominated for two ALMA Awards in 2008 and 2009. His other film roles include Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous (his second film with Sandra Bullock), How to Go Out on a Date in Queens, The Lost City, and the 3-D science fiction 2014 film Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
