An Italian actress, born on December 22, 1954 in Rome. In her youth, she starred in many plays, including many of Shakespeare's works. She also made many films in her country, Italy, before she started acting abroad and achieved success there. She also participated in many Broadway theaters. She presented more than ten films in Italy. She made her debut in Hollywood in the film Being Human in 1994 starring Robin Williams, and since then, she has worked in European cinema, where she has made 50 films. Among her most notable works are My Summer in Provence (2014), and Falcone (1999).
