French actress, born in Bois-Colombes, France on December 20, 1925. Among her most important works: Diary of a Country Priest (1951), Me and the Colonel (1958), and The Day of the Triffids (1963). She had a breathtaking French beauty, and she began her life as a dancer and then turned to film work in the 1940s. She moved to Hollywood in the fifties to work as a supporting actress in many films, such as Little Boy Lost (1953). She left for England in the sixties to work in many films, until she finally settled in her homeland, France to work on television for a while before disappearing.
