He is an Egyptian director born on August 20, 1983 and graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema in Cairo, directing department in 2006. He obtained a master's degree in script and photography from the Red Sea Institute of Cinematic Sciences in Jordan in 2012. He worked as a director, DOP, editor and producer on a number of short and documentary films, which were showcased in many festivals in France, Italy, and Germany. He was an assistant director for Excuse My French (2014), and Dead Right (2016). In 2016, he got his first directing opportunity on the program Saturday Night Live in Arabic.
