An American actor, born in New York City, New York, USA, on December 30, 1885, as Edwin Jerome Rath. He married Helene Funk (1943–1958). He is best known for his roles in The Philco Television Playhouse (1948), Perry Mason (1957-1958), Tales of Tomorrow (1952), and Lights Out (1951). Edwin began his artistic work with the introduction of sound into films and appeared in many TV series. He died on September 10, 1959, in Pasadena, California, USA, following surgery.
