Janet Waldo was an American actress, born on February 4, 1920 in Yakima, Washington, United States. Janet Waldo was married to writer, director, and producer Robert E. Lee (1948-1994), with whom she had two children, and remained with him until his death. Among the most important works of Janet Waldo: Waterloo Bridge (1940), The Jetsons (1962), Battle of the Planets (1978), and Once Upon a Forest (1993). Janet Waldo, daughter of a railroad executive, began her artistic career when she was young by working in church plays with the help of her singer mother. She studied at the University of Washington and participated in many plays at the university, and was discovered in one of the talent competitions by Paramount star Bing Crosby, who invited her and her mother to California. Her voice became distinguished, and from radio to television, she moved to television series, in addition to her cinematic participation.
