An actress, writer, and producer, born on July 22, 1939 in Haifa, Israel. She made her debut in the movie Brennender Sand (1960). Her most notable movies include Munich (2005), and Tied Hands (2006). She also wrote, produced and acted in the movie Under the Domim Tree (1994). Gila won the Silver Bear Award at the Berlin International Film Festival for the movie The Summer of Aviya (1989), shared with actress Kaipu Cohen.
