An American librettist, television actor, writer, stage, film , and voice actor, born on December 14, 1932 in Chicago, of German-Irish descent. He received his Bachelor of Science in Speech at Northwestern University in 1954, and his Master's degree from Columbia University. He made his Broadway debut as an actor in the play A Cook for Mr. General (1961), and made several works in the period (1964 - 1998). Including: The Best Man, Hooper, Airport '77, and Bulworth. He died on August 11, 2008 in Santa Monica, California, USA, at the age of 76, due to a lung disease.
