Egyptian singer born on 16 April 1952 in Cairo. He joined the High Institute of Arab Music after graduating from the faculty of Commerce. He was discovered by director Hassan El Emam who introduced him to composer Baleegh Hamdy who introduced him to the music world. He collaborated with many big names such as Mohamed Abdel Wahab and Omar Khairat. He also worked in talent management in Arab Radio and Television Channel. He appeared in the play The Person (1982).
