She attended LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts at Lincoln Center in New York, then studied acting at the Actors Center in London. She started her acting career in a number of off-Broadway productions. She is married to actor Adam Mondschein. As a founding member of a group called Charitable Living with 10 other friends, she has blended her passion for acting with her humanitarian activity. She is known for The Prince and Me (2004), In the Cut (2003), and Mad Men (2013).
