In 1994, she left the theatre to play a movie role. She has been a member of the National Theatre in Budapest since 2008. Mari Nagy received several awards in acting between 1991 and 2016. She began her film career in 1982 and is best known for A ház emlékei (2002), Wandering Leaves (2022), and Taxidermia (2006).
