A Hungarian actress, born on May 9, 1961, in Toponár, Hungary. After graduating from high school, she joined the Academy of Drama and Film in Budapest in 1979, but later on, she joined the troupe of the Gergely Csiky Theatre in Kaposvár, Hungary, where she worked as a prompter and an extra at first, and afterward, she received the status of an actress. In 1994, she left the theatre to play a movie role. She has been a member of the National Theatre in Budapest since 2008. Mari Nagy received several awards in acting between 1991 and 2016. She began her film career in 1982 and is best known for A ház emlékei (2002), Wandering Leaves (2022), and Taxidermia (2006).
