An Italian actress, born in Milan, Italy. She is the daughter of Franco Ceccarelli, guitarist of the 1960s and 1970s Italian rock group Equipe 84. Sandra began her acting career with the role of the daughter of actress Stefania Sandrelli in the movie Segreti Segreti, directed by Giuseppe Bertolucci. In 1984, she joined the Academy of Fine Arts and worked as a painter. Between 1995 and 1997, she studied acting and devoted herself to theater performances. She played the lead role in the film Il mestiere delle Armi (2000), directed by Ermanno Olmi. She also received the Best Actress award at the Venice Film Festival. |
