A British actor born in Heath End, on October 8, 1928. He got married twice and had two children. His major works include: Oh No, It's Selwyn Froggitt (1974-1978), Carry On Dick (1974), Carry On at Your Convenience (1971) and Heartbeat (1992-2000). After suffering a stroke in 2000, he was restricted to appearing as a guest of honor in soap operas in a wheelchair, and then contented himself with giving lectures at universities, on comedy and acting. He passed away at the age of 89. |
