She is famous for her solo performances of songs and original monologues of a Jewish nature, and she is a veteran of the famous The Second City comedy improv group. She won the 2003 Theatre World Award for the musical Hairspray on Broadway. She has appeared in many solo shows, such as "If You Call This Living" and "Kvetching Continues". Some of her works are Garden State (2004), Birdman (2014) and Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde (2003).
