British actress born in Surrey, UK on 25 August 1942. She attended the Elmhurst Ballet School in 1952, the Royal Ballet School in 1955, and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in 1960. Afterwards, she joined the Royal Shakespeare Company for one season then the Duchess Theatre. She made her onscreen debut on the series It Happened Like This (1963), and her film debut on The Mind Benders (1963). Her first major role was on The Long Duel (1967). Other notable works of hers include The Avengers (1967), Girly (1970), Carry On Loving (1970), and Tomorrow (1970). She married twice and had no children. She died of a sleeping pill overdose on 16 November 1980 in London, UK.
