She is an American actress, director, and producer. She was born in Valencia, California, on February 19, 1976. When she was seven, she appeared in several national TV commercials and in local theaters. She went to Hollywood after her high school graduation to follow her dream. Her passion for filmmaking led her to want to advance her career by working behind the camera. After completing her studies at the Los Angeles City College's film program in 2001, she started writing, directing, and producing numerous short films, in addition to writing many feature-length screenplays. Her acting debut was in Cellblock Sisters: Banished Behind Bars (1995). As an actress, she is known for Boogie Nights (1997), Zoe (2001), and The Absent (2001).
